Abstract
“Sariq matbuot” atamasi 1890-yillarda “New York Journal” va “New York World” gazetalari o‘rtasidagi janjal natijasida Ervin Wardman tomonidan qo‘llanila boshlaydi. Bu ibora aniq o‘rganilmagan mavzularga o‘ch, sensatsion, yolg‘on-yashiqdan iborat matbuot nashrlariga nisbatan ishlatiladi. Garchi Sariq matbuot XIX asrda gazeta va jurnallarda xabarlarni aylantirishning asosiy usuli bo‘lgan bo‘lsada, XXI asrga kelib sariq matbuot konsepsiyalari texnologik media bilan uyg‘unlashdi. Sariq matbuot jamiyatga tahdid soluvchi ochiq oydin xavfdir. Matbuot erkinligi hamda zamonaviy texnologik medialarning jurnalistikaga kirib kelishini hisobga olgan holda sariq matbuot ko‘plab salbiy oqibatlarga olib keladi.
