CONFLICTS BETWEEN ANALYTIC AND SYNTHETIC FORMS IN INFLECTIVE LANGUAGES

Abstract
This article explores the conflict between analytic and synthetic forms in inflectional languages. Analytic forms involve the use of individual words or particles to express grammatical relationships, while synthetic forms use inflections or affixes to convey the same information. The tension between these two forms is central to linguistic analysis because it reflects the balance between stability and change in language systems. This article examines the nature of these conflicts, their implications for language evolution, and how they are resolved in specific linguistic contexts.
