NONLINEAR VIBRATIONS OF A BODY MOUNTED ON VISCOELASTIC OSCILLATING SUPPORTS

The paper considers nonlinear vibrations of a solid body mounted on viscoelastic supports. The equations of motion of the system are derived from the Lagrange equations of the second kind for systems with a finite number of degrees of freedom. A method for solving the problem is developed and numerical results are obtained, the influence of nonlinearity on the displacement amplitudes is estimated.
